Meet Janika! She is my German-born Auror who has definitely had a rough go of it. After finding and defeating the dark wizard who killed her mother with the help of the woman who had done the deed (while Imperiused), she settled into a life of domestic bliss with her new bride only to be drawn into the Demon Wars, during which she suffered horrible spell damage to her left arm and lost her right leg. The day after The Masked Lady's defeat, she ended up in a duel with one of the straggling supporters of said Lady. During the duel, she apparated away to get a better position and found herself landing 17 years later.
I'm open to just about anything for her. She's definitely going to need a friend or two, probably someone who knew her from before the Flux. Her only surviving family is her now ex-wife, who moved on about a decade ago, so there's some potential there. Let me know if you've got an idea or a plot for your character that Janika can be of use in!
