Appearance:
Hair: Violet inherited her mother’s red, wavy hair. It is long, extending nearly to the small of her back. She is very proud of her hair and loves styling it in different ways, but rarely puts it all the way up.
Eyes: She has the sharp emerald green eyes of the Kameren family. Hers are darker and sharper than her siblings, with a bit of a flash to them when she's in a certain mood.
Build/height- Violet is a lithe, dainty thing with willowy limbs and bony joints. She's thin as a board, and is only starting to get the womanly curves that come with adulthood.
General Description- Vi is a pretty young lady, with fair skin and a bony frame. Freckles fleck her cheeks in the summers, and any time in the son will darken her fair pallor as well. She has a kind smile, though she is a rather serious child and it takes some coaxing to show through.
Possessions- Violet considers the family cat, Merlin, her cat. She takes him to Hogwarts with her during the school year, but the cat often runs away from her off to the Headmaster’s office.
Since the death of her father, Violet has been wearing the Christmas present he got her this year and had been saving. It is a white-gold locket on a thin chain, with an amethyst in the center. When it's opened, it plays an instrumental version of Mozart's Das Veilchen. It was found in his office, and Vi's mother recognized the song and knew it was for her.
Personality:
Temperment/Mental Attributes-
Violet is a bit more serious than her two other siblings, and doesn’t take a joke quite as well. She’s a bit self-conscious, often going out of her way to impress her superiors, whether they are teachers or just her parents. She does have some sense of humor, though a touch on the sarcastic side.
A precocious child since she was very young, Violet tries to act like an adult almost to a fault. She bottles up her strong emotions for when she is alone. However, every now and then she'll slip her normally reserved demeanor and a childish temper will burst forth.
Underneath her serious facade, however, is a warm soul. She is a kind child and always one to stand up to things that are wrong. She is bull-headed and stubborn, with very little patience for hypocrisy or manipulative people. She will stand by her word no matter what, even if it comes to a duel.
After all, if there's one place she's confident, it's in her magical ability. She is an accomplished witch already at her young age, taking quickly to the Kameren family's natural dueling and spellcasting skills. She has a sharp mind and is brave and good with strategy, making her not only an accomplished duelist, but also quite impressive on the Quiddich field.

History-
The birth of Violet Kameren was the beginning of a well-deserved peaceful period in her parents' difficult relationship. They had overcome adversity together and persevered, and finally could settle down together. Violet was their angel, their savior from the strife they'd experience.
However, she wasn't their 'angel' for long. Violet was a rambunctious child, defiant to her parents until the very end. Even at a young age she has been assertive of her independence. Though she wasn't ever a snuggly mummy's girl, she still had a good relationship with her parents and knew she was loved. She idolized her older brother, who as twelve years her senior has often acted as a parent as much as a brother.
Shortly after Violet's fourth birthday, her family welcomed her younger sister, Evelyn, in to the family. Violet was very happy with her baby sister and loved her very much. However, it was only a few years later that Evie started showing signs of genius, and Violet grew jealous of her younger sister's special attention and abilities. She still loved her sister and eventually grew used to it with age, but still at times harbors impatience with her sister's special abilities.
Though Violet didn't share her father and sister's mental abilities, she was already exhibiting signs of power at a young age. It was no surprise when Violet received her Hogwarts letter at eleven years old. She had already been showing signs of magical ability, and was already quite sophisticated in her manipulation of it. Her father was Headmaster of Hogwarts, so she and her family had spent a lot of time there. She was itching to go by the time she got her letter.
Once she entered Hogwarts, she excelled. Easily reaching the top of the Gryffindor class in her abilities, Violet found Herbology and Potions particularly enjoyable. She spends much of her time on the grounds at school, exploring as far into the forest as she knew her father would allow. Late into her second year, however, she ventured out into the Hogwarts grounds less; her father was growing sick, and she worried about his condition.
Eventually, her suspicions were proven correct: in her final potions class of the year, Headmaster Kameren collapsed while substituting for the class. He had had a stroke, and though he was rushed to St. Mungo's, it was no good. Over the summer, he was buried in London and her family pulled together to pick up the pieces after his departure.
Curse Kameren left behind many secrets, however, many more than even his family knew. These included a secret language he had written out: a coded, written, then jumbled version of Parseltongue. He had recognized Violet's abilities before she did, and prepared the code for her to uncover with the help of her mother after his death. Since then, Violet has been helping her mother decode her father's last secret thoughts left only for her.
However, her extracurricular projects couldn't et in the way of school, and Violet has now returned to Hogwarts for her third year. It is an emptier place now without her father. Everything reminds her of him, and she worries about the new Headmaster Holland. Could her father's animosity toward him be warranted? Armed with her father's secrets, Violet may just find out.
