November 3rd
Date nights out were a rare thing in Elle's life and she took advantage of the opportunity whenever she got it. Alex Kameren preferred to stay in rather than be with a lot of other people. Elle didn't blame him. He was a quiet, introverted sort that was around the worst of humanity daily. He deserved a glass of whiskey by the fire. Hell, Elle wasn't one for going out after a long shift at the hospital either. Tonight though was special. They were leaving the estate and heading off to London. There was a bar she had heard about from some of the healers. It was a wizarding joint near the dueling dragons. If Alex didn't like the place, Elle could always convince him to go a round or two. She remembered fondly their first date there. Elle had taken her time to primp for the occasion. She'd straightened her hair for a change so it skimmed her waist in a sleek sheet down her back. She'd worn high heeled leather boots that stopped above the knee. The needle point heels gave her three extra inches that she planned on using to great effect. She wore a emerald green jumper that skimmed the top of her boots and a woolen cloak lined in fur. It wasn't at all what she typically wore but she was feeling feisty.
Elle slid out of the bathroom, her lips painted blood red. She smirked at Alex offering him her hand. She would finally get over her free and be the one to take them to their destination. With a crack they landed outside the Three Eyed Toad. It was a small charming brick building with a wrought iron sign out front of a toad drinking out of a longneck bottle. Music could just be heard coming from inside. Elle grinned. "We made it in one piece and I think that's my favorite song playing," Elle said grabbing Alex's hand and pulling him inside the bar. In side there was a sizable crowd. Patrons were either crowded around the main bar or were at little tables. There was a small stage in the corner of the room where music was playing out of a portable player. A mike stand took center stage and above that was a sign declaring tonight to be Karaoke night.
