"Floo?" she answered a little confused. "My father would be..." she paused to do the maths, "64? And he won't have gotten rid of our home."
"Oh well thats ok then!" Jamie beamed. Always assuming her father wasnt dead, she would easily be able to get home! Her father would be estatic to see her, Aly was so sweet.
"Did they catch all the Sentinels after the War? Or were they all killed?"
"They're all in Azkaban!" Jamie had an admiring tone to his voice. "Curse Kameren and his brother killed the Masked Lady, and the Black Watch and the Aurors found and arrested the rest!"

"They're all in Azkaban!" Jamie had an admiring tone to his voice. "Curse Kameren and his brother killed the Masked Lady, and the Black Watch and the Aurors found and arrested the rest!"
Alyson had to work hard to keep the frown off her face. Instead she nodded thoughtfully, forcing a smile to her lips. "That's good to hear," she said. It wasn't. That information didn't help her at all. Had they really caught everyone? She knew they had been weakened, she'd seen Mosrael's forces just a couple of days before the Final Battle, had gone to inspect the boy she'd taken. It had been foolishness, the proof was in her downfall. Mosrael should have just killed the boy. Instead she'd just further invited Curse Kameren's wrath... and she hadn't had the power to defeat him.
But some of those Sentinels had been ready to follow her. And Alyson only accepted the best, the true Pure. And they would not have been so easily taken. Nor did she really believe her father would have let the name be smeared after all the work he had done after the fall of Voldemort.
No. Some of them must have escaped. But it didn't look like Jamie was going to be much help. He obviously admired the wrong people. It was a disappointment if not a surprise, though she wondered how such a nice boy had become a Slytherin. There must be some potential in him somewhere. It was a thought for later. For now, she had to get home.
"I guess I should go home and let my father know I'm back? And I guess the Ministry too?" This time she did frown. "Wait, what did they say about us? Am I even still 'alive'?"

"I guess I should go home and let my father know I'm back? And I guess the Ministry too?" This time she did frown. "Wait, what did they say about us? Am I even still 'alive'?"
Jamie shook his head, pondering the question. "I think like several years after the Disappearance," Again he capitalized the words with relish, "they gave up and declared everyone dead. It was a big mess I think." He'd probably only been about 2 or 3 at the time. His mum really didn't like discussing the war. She'd participated in Dumbledore's Army in school he knew, and she'd probably fought in the Demon Wars too, she didn't talk about it. He'd had an aunt, but she was lost in the War and he wondered sometimes if that was why his mother was so distant sometimes, as if her mind was somewhere else. In another time.
"Anyway, we should get you home!" Jamie jumped up, "The fireplace in the hall is hooked up to the Floo."

"I think like several years after the Disappearance," Jamie said, "they gave up and declared everyone dead. It was a big mess I think."
So she was dead to the world. Fantastic. She could see the paperwork now. Just what she needed when she had plans for mass destruction and panic to plan. Just fucking perfect. Big mess sounded about right. And she supposed she'd have to prepare to go back to Hogwarts again too. It was going to be a busy month. She only hoped her father hadn't fucked things up too much. It was certainly going to be a interesting chat once she got home. He had tried to imprison her after all. Speaking of home...
"Anyway, we should get you home!" Jamie jumped up his aura sparking, "The fireplace in the hall is hooked up to the Floo."
Alyson stood. "Help me there?" she asked, holding out a hand. She really hoped Little Shadow was still waiting for her at home. This needing other people thing to help get around was getting on her last nerve. Using Jamie to guide her, they walked to the hall. At his prompting and a second of hesitation on her part - it was daunting stepping into a fireplace when you couldn't be sure it wasn't going to burn you to a crisp- she let go of him and prepared to return home.
"Bludwyne Manor!" she said clearly and was gone in a flare of green flame.
